Igbo Union of Canada is a  community-based organization determined to advance the course of Igbo people in Canada while essentially propagating the Igbo cultural heritage around the world. Igbo union provides support services to the black community in Toronto in the areas of capacity building, advisory roles and sharing knowledge that advance the well-being and economic emancipation of Igbo people in particular.

Igbo union in partnership with Weffort community services and funded by Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative (SBCCI)  presents  Diabetes information seminar . Diabetes is an ugly disease silently ravaging our community. A team of consultants, nursing educators will be coming to Igbo union of Canada to discuss:

Diabetes effects ,control and management. Dieticians will also  be on board to explain how it can be managed through healthy food choices.
